The founder of Operation Excellent, Oscar Evans, grew up on a farm and joined the Navy after college. Within 2 years, he was landing on an aircraft carrier for the first time. The process is a combination of selection, training, development and reinforcement based on a dedicated continuous improvement process.
Oscar retired with over 3000 hours in fighters and almost 400 carrier landings in several deployments to the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf. With his unique blend of farmboy sensibility and many years of leadership, Oscar wanted to bring that same vision and process to companies that want to improve their safety, efficiency and profitability.
